CALIFORNIA - LOS ANGELES - January 21, 1990

Returning to Los Angeles, cousin Judy and I re-covered some familiar territory. We breezed up and down the Palos Verdes hill and then cruised by the big boats in the harbor. As always, there were plenty of vessels being attended to by the giant cranes on Terminal Island.

Returning to Judy's home, we could see the distant mountaintops of Catalina Island peeking through the haze. Below us, we took in a view of San Pedro and the harbor channel. Later, Mother Nature unleashed a heavenly evening display, (no doubt enhanced by LA's thick atmospheric pollution.)
