FLORIDA - FLAGLER BEACH - August 01, 2003

I had some time to kill before arriving at my appointment in Tampa. So I decided to chill out at my favorite destinations of Flagler Beach and Daytona. Flagler is a small town just North of Daytona. It has a pier with a restaurant and a nice solitary beach. The parents of some of my friends have a condo here and spend part of the year living along this peaceful shore. At other times, my friends and their adult children make trips here to take advantage of the property.

And that happened to be the case at the moment. A day after I arrived, newlywed friend Crystal from Kansas City showed up at the condo. Her husband was going to be following in a few days. In the mean time she was intent on relaxing and enjoying the rays of the sun. The morning she arrived, we went down to the Flagler Pier Restaurant and had lunch and caught up on a few things.
