LOUISIANA - NEW ORLEANS - August 11, 2003

Fish, fish and more fish. The Audubon Aquarium certainly had them in droves. Plus a lot of other fascinating aquatic creatures. I always enjoy any place that has penguins, or frogs or seahorses, or stingrays. You just can't beat them for their entertainment value. God's little performers.

I find it interesting to compare zoos and aquariums, since none of them appear to have absolutely everything. For example, this aquarium had a great display of jellyfish, but as it turns out, it was the same exhibit I had seen a year ago in Monterrey. That did not make it any less noteworthy, as the case may be.
