Over the weekend following my photo shoot in Connecticut, I drove to Seekonk, MA to visit with old friend "Mel" and her husband Ray. Although Mel and I both attended the University of Kansas at the same time, I became familiar with her after graduation when we were all members of advertising-related clubs in Kansas City. At that time Mel worked as a artist at Hallmark and has since been employed by other major greeting card companies. Now she works for herself as a freelence product designer.
