UNCLE TOM - PHOTO ALBUM IMAGES - 1947
I am relatively certain that these images come from a motorcycle trip my uncle took during the summer of 1947. Many, if not all, of the photos appear to be of spots in Colorado. Photo 1 - "Mount Evans Crest House. Constructed 1940 by the Mount Evans Company cooperating with the U.S. Forest Service. Elevation 14,260 feet. Arapaho National Forest." Photo 3 - "U.S. Geological Survey bench mark. Elevation 14,105 Ft." Photo 6 - "Continental Divide. Monarch Pass. Elev. 11,302 Ft."
