The trees in Colorado along I-70 were particularly breathtaking. Vast areas were saturated with intense golden leaves that lit up in the sunlight. It was almost surreal, like being on another world. The golden yellow seemed to be a universal Fall color in this state. I did not see any hints of orange or red.
