Re: Montrose was my first destination on this particular photo-taking trip. It was quite a beautiful place, with the mixture of golden trees, snow-topped mountains and awesome sunsets. Near Montrose was Black Canyon National Park, a recommended site that I briefly visited. The area was host to a variety of wildlife, including roaming deer and penned-up cattle. Log cabin homes seemed to be a popular item in this part of the world.
