On the last leg of this particular journey I wanted to make sure that I stopped and photographed the awesome spiral temple of the Community of Christ in Independence, MO. This wonderful piece of architecture, the COC's headquarters, has been brought to my attention on a number of occasions, but I have never paid it a visit until now. Being so close, I felt I had the perfect opportunity in hand. As you can see, it is a beautiful structure and highly unique in design. It's a treasure that everyone should see if they get the chance.
