NEVADA - LAUGHLIN - April 15, 2004

The day before Tax Day, I rented a car in San Diego and drove across California's Mojave Desert to Bullhead City, Arizona. (Enterprise gave me a PT Cruiser!) Immediately across the Colorado River from Bullhead City sat Laughlin, a Nevada gambling mecca consisting of a series of casino-hosting hotels. After asking around, I was directed to the Ramada Express, where I found I could get a really good room for only $25.00 per night. What a deal! So, for a couple of days, I used Laughlin's Ramada hotel as my base of operations. Needless to say, I enjoyed several filling meals at the Ramada's all-you-can-eat buffet.
