OHIO - CLEVELAND - March 02, 2004

As Ohio cities go, Cleveland has tons of interesting items to check out. Along the lakefront there are a variety of popular attractions. The one I stopped to visit was the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Circling it were the Cleveland Browns football stadium, the Great Lakes Science Center, a large docked cargo ship and several jet fighters mounted on display at Burke Lakefront Airport.

This was my second visit to Cleveland and I came back specifically to get better pictures of the Rock Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame is certainly a unique piece of architecture, one that stands out from the crowd with its unusual design. Sadly to say, I have not had enough free time to go tour the inside of this treasure, which would no doubt take several hours to fully appreciate. I have, instead, visited the gift shop and the lobby.

To be honest, the whole downtown area looks to be of interest, not just the lakefront. I attempted to get a few shots of some of the more stylish modern buildings, but central Cleveland simply has more to absorb than a simple pass-through can take in. To see all of the good stuff, I'm going to have to stay a few days.
