FLORIDA - ORLANDO - January 11, 2006

On Wednesday morning, the enormous International Home Builders Show opened its door to the members of the building trade. This is one of the largest conventions held in the United States and takes up the floor space of two huge exhibition halls. In all it took me 3 1/2 days to walk down every aisle of the convention and collect literature.

On the first morning, I visited our company booth and proceeded to orient myself to my surroundings. It was a long haul to cross the interior of one gallery, then exit the building and traverse the catwalk to the second facility, roughly a block away. Fortunately, I have become used to such activity, having attended a number of large conventions when I lived in Chicago.
