FLORIDA - ORLANDO - January 11, 2006

The International Builders Show is BIG. Really big! Perhaps the second largest annual convention in the United States. It's so large that they actually construct full-scale houses to demo products and building techniques. And every manner of building material, equipment and fixture is represented.

Each morning we would be shuttled from our hotel to the massive convention center complex by our cheerful driver Mohummad. He always took good care of us and put up with our frequently obnoxious conventioneer behaviors.

Depositing us at the exhibition hall, we were sometimes greeted by adorable young women in hardhats and flannel shirts who would faithfully steer us to our proper destinations. Navigating the concourse was always a bit tricky, especially when it came to finding a particular meeting room, exit or short lunch line.
