Off I went, to Iowa, on my first official photo trip of the year. My destination was Mt. Pleasant and several other surrounding communities.

In route, and during the course of my assignment, I mostly passed by empty Iowa farmland. At this time, many Iowa farmers were out preparing their fields. Across the rolling brown and tan stretches of soil, tractors were busy tilling and spraying and fertilizing.
