| KENTUCKY - LOUISVILLE - May 06, 2006
One thing I knew I could expect from any major horse race was a bevy of well-dressed women sporting big floppy hats. Needless to say, the Kentucky Derby was not a disappointment in this area. Gazing around the entrance to Churchill Downs, fashionable ladies, and their gentleman escorts, appeared in abundance. Many of these elegent individuals were no doubt headed for the reserved sections of the track, where a dress code was strictly enforced. Their stylish garb caused them to stand out from the rest of the spectators, who were more or less outfitted to attend a football game or wrestling match. |
