| TENNESSEE - I-24 - January 21, 2006
As I entered Tennessee and started to rise in elevation, I eventually reached a level that put the landscape in touch with the clouds. It was a foggy, overcast day and there were low-lying formations everywhere. Many were gently embraced and sheltered by the hillsides, unable to move or dissipate. I never reached a point where my visibility was obscured, but there were times when it appeared that the road ahead was buried under a pile of fluffy cottonballs. |
