All events of this nature come complete with a cast of characters. Biketoberfest was certainly no expection.

Of course it's hard not to know what to expect. Kinda of like going to the circus. There are guys in black leather jackets covered with patches and scantily-clad women serving up beer. Harley Davidson logos as far as the eye can see. Lots of tattoos. Ministering Christians. And, unusual people trying their best to get noticed.

I recognized one woman in a red plastic dress and armadillo handbag from Strugis. She has managed to become rather iconic. I gather she attends a great number of events like this.

Then there was the costumed "Dragon-Master", whose bike was covered with a skeleton of bones. And who can ignor ladies who demand to be sprayed with water and have mirrors covering their breasts.

Yes, it's the carnival on two wheels.
