FLORIDA - ST. PETERSBURG BEACH - January 27, 2008
Next, we headed East towards the Gulf and St. Petersburg Beach. There, we discovered the magnificent Don Cesar Beach Resort. Like the Vinoy, only larger, the Don Cesar was a pleasing shade of pastel pink. It oozed of relaxation. With two pools, a beach and a shopping gallery, it had much to offer in the way of ammenities. Again, it brought back fond memories of another San Diego establishment, the iconic Del Coronado Hotel. Leaving this vacation oasis, my guide and I made our way South across the awesome Sunshine Skyway bridge. Myron recounted its history as we traversed its span. |
